Hey all! Last month I flew to Arkansas after watching the market for a thundernight metallic BMW M240i. I found this beauty for a great price with all the options I wanted (purple, xDrive, low miles, parking assist, drivers assist pro). I fell in love instantly and bought it and drove it all the way back home!
I wanted to start up this thread to keep track of my build as I get parts, swap them in, and make some changes to it to really make it my own. Hope you enjoy!

Man, getting into the fusebox in these Bimmers sucks. Very tight footwell - spent most of my time doing this upside down with my head and arms in the passenger footwell and my legs doing whatever they could outside the car to give me a better angle. I got most of this done by myself but ended up having to get some help from The Dashcam Store just to double check my wiring since the camera was turning on and off as I was driving. But hey, at least now I have a USB-C hardwired and I can easily upgrade my camera in the future!

Big props to my friend (and moderator here at TXW) Rob for helping with (i.e. doing) this install. I was able to snag this AA catted downpipe for a very good price from another friend, so I took it over to Rob's early one Saturday and we knocked out the install. This really livened up the exhaust noises over the stock one! I think I will eventually get a catback exhaust to pair up with this to give it some more volume but I am really happy to hear what the engine is outputting now.
